Hi I am a student from China. I already got my master degree in China, and now I study Civil Engineering in University of Birmingham in the UK to get my second master degree. I like jogging and playing tennis. When I am free I enjoy the lazy time to listen some music or reading or watching movies or just have a good sleep. I'd like to know about different cultures and experience different life. Also I am happy share people with my stories and culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like chatting with people in different backgrounds to know about different cultures. I like travelling so much and I enjoy the time of travelling alone cause I can have more free feeling about the atmosphere of different places and come across some other friends in the journey. I think Couchsurfing is a good way to help me to touch with local people and experience local culture better.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like different types of music includes popular songs, classical music, rock, jazz or blues. I think all of these music are beautiful.
I like feature film and I like watching classic films. My favorite movie is Forrest Gump.
I like reading novels and prose. My favorite book is The Little Prince.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled alone to chase Aurora in Abisko in Sweden. It's very very cold there, and the temperature is -30 degrees. I walked across a big ice lake and saw pretty moose. I was frozen to die but I still keep going 6 hours per day to find beautiful natural sceneries. I woke up at midnight to wait for Aurora and I am lucky to see that splendid and amazing scene that Aurora was dancing. It impacts me a lot.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been a volunteer to support country's teaching in China for half a year. It's a very small and poor village even without electricity. The conditions there are quite hard. While people there are very kind and pure. Children there have no enough food and study resources. I teach them English and spent a very happy period with them. This experience helps me find the meaning of life. It's a precious memory for me.
