ABOUT ME

I was active in the couchsurfing group in Atlanta, now I am studying Rhetoric in Carnegie Mellon University. I might not be able to host but I would love to meet up if you are in Pittsburgh :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe people should be responsible of themselves. Not only for the serious things like education or careers, but also the essential things too, like being happy. Responsible people are actively looking for ways to improve themselves, and be happier. Those people glow!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have only hosted people I knew.
I've only started couchsurfing a few weeks ago, yet the weekly meetings has made itself one of the highlights of my life.

Interests

I am interested in language, not only at a conversation level, but also the worldview different languages employ.
Another of my interest is Chinese calligraphy. I have been doing it since young : )
Oh, and I like dancing. Both watching and participating.
I like trying out restaurants with friends. I like meeting new people and listen to their stories. I like taking pictures with strange poses. I like to bike. I love musicals! I love Food!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a huge nerd when it comes to The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. Oh, and I love 金庸. He's a marvellous martial art fiction writer; it's a pity he's not very well-known in the west, which might be because that he's work is super hard to translate.
I listen to all kinds of music, from Reggae, hiphop, alternative, Jazz to French pop. Not a big fan for metal though.
