About Me
Hey there :)
I signed up on couchsurfing already 8 years ago but haven't been active in a while so I would love to get started again.
More to now about me: Flexi-vegetarian while I'm traveling, 100% veggie at home. Sometimes sportive though I prefer hiking and moving while traveling over exercising in a gym. I rather enjoy good company than an empty room though after a lot of social interactions I'm also in need of some me-time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To gather new friends in places where I dont have any yet. And to discover countries and cultures aside from the touristic main spots that often have little in common with the remaining 95% of the country.
Interests
I can be enthusiastic about a lot of things and I'm always curious to learn sth new. Restuling that Ii'm not particularly good at anything ^^. But life is about learning and not about perfection, so I'm fine with that.
While at home I love cooking, alone or with friends as well as various creative activities like knitting, makramee or crochet. I share my room with at least 40 plants. They became close companions during the Covid pandemic.
Obviously traveling is one of my main interests like probably for most people here. My job as a flight attendant is giving me the opportunity to see the world while I'm working as well as in my free time. I came across some places I probably wouldn't have end up visiting.

Music, Movies, and Books
During my time in Colombia I grew really fond of Spanish music, doesn't matter if it's salsa, bachata or Spanish pop. In general I would say my playlist is quite diverse with influences of many countries. Music is a huge part of culture so for me it's a part of traveling too.
Unfortunately I lost a bit the habit of reading since I started studying but I'm trying to get back into it. It really depends on my mood what I'm grabing. Sometimes a silly romance does the job but more often I prefer sth that transmits some knowledge mostly in the psychological area.
I feel like movies git kind of old-fashioned in the area of netflix and co. So I'm mostly into classics because often I just don't know what hit the cinema lately. Christopher Nolan and Woody Allen are my favourite directors though.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So many....met inspiring people, have been to breathtaking landscapes, seeing the carnival in Barranquilla...but I wouldn't miss becoming an aunt for the most adorable niece.
Teach, Learn, Share
In my opinion traveling is one of the easiest, funniest and most impressive ways to educate yourself. Just by spending a holiday somewhere you learn about other people, cultures and traditions, probably coming back as a changed person without even noticing.
I had great meetings with strangers just by chance who ended up sharing some of their wisdom with me. I feel like that's something we all can do. Sometimes we take, sometimes we give without even being aware of it.
So I'm always up for long conversations let it be about travel experiences, geopolitics, psychology or whatsoever.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Quite some cooking experience, funny stories from the airplane and psychiatry, profound late night conversations or just some of my bad humor.
