ABOUT ME

My name is Ronja Quensel. I grew up in Germany and travelled around Europe a little bit on holiday. I finished high school in 2013, travelled to the US afterwards and will (probably) start university in 2015, unless I decide to travel some more before that. I'm very outgoing, open minded and love trying new things and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After coming to the US (and thus traveling outside of Europe for the first time) I've come to appreciate life abroad and discovering new cultures a lot. There is probably no better way than to experience any place through the eyes of a local. I'd love to meet new people everywhere I go and in return want to show my own home to people from different places as well.

Interests

I love sports (especially horse riding, hiking and soccer), spending time with my friends, working with animals and going on trips. I've made it my goal to see as much of the world as I possibly can in my life, hopefully traveling the whole world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like romantic movies/books as well as comedies and fantasy. For music I don't really have a preference; I like songs out of many genres.

Teach, Learn, Share

For hosts outside of Germany I'm a good source for telling German culture and life. I'm also a really outgoing person and always up to do pretty much anything. So whatever a host might want to do/show me in there free time: I am very likely to enjoy it and get into it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Apart from German language, culture and lifestyle I love talking to people about all my hobbies and interests (from sports to music to places I've been to/want to go to and so on) and actually pretty much everything else as well. I love engaging in conversations, even if a topic might be new to me.
