ABOUT ME

My name is Ron Solo. I am a graduate from Sacramento State University in Art. I studied a year of my college in Florence, Italy, at the Accademia di Belli Arti.

I worked at Disneyland for a year, but left the company to pursue a goal of teaching English to students of other languages.

I currently teach English a public elementary school in Seoul, South Korea. I love it here...

PHILOSOPHY

You pile up enough tomorrows, and you'll find you are left with nothing but a lot of empty yesterdays. I don't know about you, but I'd like to make today worth remembering.

You can have anything in life, you just gotta want it.

It's only weird if you make it weird.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host when I can. I surf when I need to.

I also attend a large amount of Couch Surfing events. It's fun to get to know some CS'ers in the community. I've gained many a friend in Seoul this way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Winter 2008 in Switzerland and Paris. My hosts were amazing. It really got me a on the good foot with the couch surfing program.

I had a couple people stay with me in the Spring of 2009, when I lived in Italy.

I hosted a couple people when I was living in Huntington Beach in the 2011s

I've been partying alot with the Seoul CS community summer 2012

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gone to a lot of movie premieres in Hollywood and have been in pictures with a lot of stars.

I went to Oktoberfest in Munich! It was awesome.

I smoked weed for the first time in Amsterdam. I saw a smoke monster...

If you go to Italy, go in every single church. You never know what kind of masterpiece you'll find.
