About Me
NOTE: Because I work full-time, I've decided not to host during the week anymore. Feel free to send me a message to stay over in the weekend :)
So I'm a Dutchie that decided that Bulgaria would be an excellent adventure after graduating. It turned out quite the adventure indeed!
I love to meet new international people and therefore I figured that couchsurfing should be quite awesome.
I've been doing long weekend trips since I've arrived here for pretty much every month, visiting: Romania, Macedonia, Greece, Serbia, Georgia and some other interesting sights withing Bulgaria.
I would consider myself quite sociable and I'm pretty much always up for any activity. Traveling, hiking, sports, karaoke, Salsa dancing, board games, windsurfing and any party in general. Got to enjoy life right!
I hope to meet lots of interesting new friends here from around the world.
Cheers and don't forget to stay awesome!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Whoops, I Pretty much already explained that.
But since you're on couchsurfing, I probably won't have to explain you how awesome it is :)
Music, Movies, and Books
Anything with Rythm makes me happy. I have family in the Caribbean, where I fell in love with latin dance and music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Getting picked up hitch-hiking by the son of the former president of ''a country'' and ending up staying the night at his place. (promised not to disclose his name :D)
Visiting 15 countries in a year while working full-time. Not bad right :D
Crossed the last remaining border between two countries inside a city. Nicosia in Cyprus is split up in the middle between the Greek and Turkish sides.
Hitch-hiking from Sofia to Skopje in a 2 against 2 hitch-hiking race. Me and Tom arrived 15 minutes after the other team that was still checking in, but they took a taxi to the hostel (bastards!)
Got invited to a house party in Lake Tahoe with a big group of Polish work and travel people. Proper USA houseparty, but then with Polish Vodka drinking rules. I recommend it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Life experience I guess. Sharing experiences is a nice way to remember how awesome your life is and how many awesome things you can still do.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, A sleeping couch, tips to move around the city. And I can teach you how to moonwalk in an hour. (depending on your talent :D)
