About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Becoming a Tartiflette.

ABOUT ME

Crazy, easy-going, I'm the kind of guy who likes to have a laugh anytime. Helpful too. I can be very chatty at times. I'm a musician so I connect instantly with other music lovers. I'm a rock and roll guy to the core BUT i'm polite and I brush my teeth everyday :D

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not on CS to be a hotel or treat my hosts as such. I like the social aspect of this site, I love meeting new people, I already made friends from all over the world and I consider CS as another way to make new ones.

The least I expect from myself and all the people on this site is a "smiling" attitude. It sounds stupid but I guess I can call it consideration for the other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Coolest way to pay a visit to the world and its funny inhabitants.

Interests

Mostly music, cinema and hanging out.
I'm very artistic by nature, passionnate too, so I'm really into music and cinema. I'm a musician myself (I play the drums for 20 years now) I love jamming with other musicians, whatever the syle (have a preference for Funk, rock, reggae and metal).
I'm a film freak, I have studied cinema for a year in University and it really changed the way I watch a movie now.

Also, I love cooking, learning new recipes from all over the world. I have never opened a book of recipes, I learn by watching others do, or simply using my brains to invent something of my own. I think cooking is also about improvisation, just as playing music.

I enjoy strategy games, and to a larger extent I love playing games of any sort (but not when it involves money)

And of course, love travelling. So much.

Music, Movies, and Books

so many books I love! and the films!
I'm a big fan of Terry Guilliam's work. Brazil being probably one of my favourite films, along with Princess Mononoke.
I love all types of films, except teenage comedies and musicals, which tend to bore me after 10 minutes.

About music... dang I could talk about that for hours. I love Metal, Jazz, Reggae, Bossa Nova, Flamenco, Rock... name it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'll never forget the white whales jumping out of the water, on the coasts of South Africa.

Being caught in a snow storm in Canada, in the middle of NOWHERE (pretty scary)
