my current mission is to meet new people from new places. I am no longer bound by the thumb of uncle Sam. Where it was hard to meet new people on this earth that wen't in the military.

ABOUT ME

Hi my name is nick Rookstool. I recently seperated from the Coast Guard where i was a helicopter mechanic/ aircrewman for 8 years. I attending Embry-riddle university in the fall of 2010. I am looking to meet new people in the florida area and surrounding states. I was born in Tennesse.. God's country. I am 26 and a very active, social and fun mofo.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to Couch surfing, and at first i was very sceptic, but i went ashville after a backpacking trip thru the smokies and couch surfed with a guy. and had great experience. The Coauchsurfing bro showed around town, took us kayaking, Etc.. I was awsome.. I am sold. one day i hope to host people in the Daytona Beach area, where i will be living in two weeks. And show people the same hospitality that our couch surfing bro showed us in Ashville, NC

I like all music. not real into main stream. I like the kind of music that involves talent, not glamor a gloss, I like live blues music in a dim lit bar. I like underground hip hop. not a huge country fan, but i am from TN.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well i was in the Coast guard for 8 years where i went from working on lighthouses thru out the California coast, to being a helicopter mechanic in Oregon and Puerto Rico. I was also a hoist operator/aircrewman,flight mechanic. I have saved a hand ful of people from the depths of mother ocean, and seen some really cool things noone on this earth might never see.
