About Me
I'm a 23 year old student from the Netherlands, currently interning at a nonprofit in Washington DC! I have lived in Belgium, the United Kingdom, South-Africa and now Washington; so far loving every minute of it.
Though I am new to couchsurfing, I have stayed at many places (hostels, people's homes, guesthouses etc) during my previous travels in Europe, and met many awesome people!
I am looking for hosts that are clean, hospitable, can provide a sleeping place + towels, have clear groundrules/communication and are centrally located in NYC. In return, I promise you someone who is clean, respectful, quiet, accommodating, grateful for your help and hospitality and...gezellig! If you don't know, google this Dutch word :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
~Would like to meet local people in NYC (talk about their experience of NYC, what places to visit etc.)
~Am on a tight budget (still stuyding...)
~Love to be in a 'personal' surrounding instead of a cold, standard hostel with too many (loud) people
~Am curious to find out how Couchsurfing works and become part of this community!
