About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Move!

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Winter Park in a large, loving, lovely family, with three brothers and two sisters. I have enjoyed exploring and adventuring all around this Central Florida area, and beyond that have tripped, traveled, and traversed to New York, Virginia, Georgia, Washington D.C, and California. In High School I slacked a bit, but still learned a great deal on my own and created myriad mystic memories. I made many friends, a few of which I was in a band with for a while(called The Henry Starrs), until several personal and locational problems forced a split-up. I just recently finished abandoning a wretched apartment where some friends and I lived for a miserable year, and am moving in with my two brothers in their house a block over and a block up from where we all grew up. Anyhow, I enjoy biking all around, reading most anything, writing about everything, having adventures, singing, music-meddling, and meeting new people. I would venture so far as to say that I am a very friendly and unassuming person, so I hope that I can contribute to Couchsurfing in a multitude of ways. Unfortunately, as I said, I don't have a couch to offer yet, but with luck that will change within a couple of months, once I talk to my brothers. I look forward to this year as the one where I pick up the pieces and make something out of all the confusion, and hopefully getting around a bit in the world will give me some glue. Salutation!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only begun to surf, but hope that it proves to be a great way to stay places and converse with neat local people.

Interests

Writing, discussing, adventuring, reading, making and taking music, biking for fun and transport, making good fresh foods, mixing it up, fooling about, playing with words, running around climbing trees, and essentially & simply living simply essentially (ahuhu)

Music, Movies, and Books

I never fill these out, for fear of following neurotic urges to make them all-encompassing, but I will give a sampling of my best-beloved works: American Beauty, On the Road (almost finished), The Knack (and how to get it), Jimi Hendrix Experience, Full Metal Jacket, Breathless, Star Wars, what have you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Threw a piece of bread supernaturally far (this is no joke: two witnesses can attest to that little square of dough flying about one and a half football fields... still freaks me out)

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy teaching anything I feel competent with, and would be happy to have a shot at any of the following: music (guitar, bass, or drums), fishing, bike maintenance, English language, treeclimbing, billiards, typing, operating a manual transmission car, cooking omelets, picking locks & masterlocks, trespassing, and packing one back with which to do anything
