About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I am a travelling beekeeper. By hopping farms and working with different beekeepers all over the country while studying their craft, I gain insight on the philosophies + techniques of simple, humble, & raw honey bee stewardship. I am hard-of-hearing and bilingual. My goal is to remove my dependency on oil transportation (via hitch-hiking/ride shares/buses/trains from the past three years) and continue to explore farms by bicycle.

Yeshi is the pup who started adventuring with me since I rescued her last July. She's a year old black lab mix, mild-mattered, sweet, and a bit shy. She is at my side 24/7 and is currently in training to become my hearing service dog.

PHILOSOPHY
"€œYour time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don'€™t be trapped by dogma -€” which is living with the results of other people'€™s thinking. Don't let the noise of others'€™ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary€." - Steve Jobs

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2012, my fourth of July was spent at a the Cherokee National Park in Tennessee where the National Rainbow Gathering was being held. Out of those thirty-something days spent surrounded by incredible human beings in the middle of a breathing forest, I learned more things about myself + the world around me, laughed myself into fits of tears + felt an overwhelming amount of love. These strangers, who quickly became family, opened my eyes to the world. I learned how to live simply and mindfully with my home carried in the form of a backpack. I was welcomed back home.

Magic-making, trail-blazing.
