Overview
About Me
I'm a 24 year old Anglo-Irish travel-hungry postgrad at the end of my studies.
I love to travel. It's what I get most excited about. I'm always daydreaming about the next trip. I love how the opportunities that each trip presents are pretty unknown until you arrive and get stuck into the culture and meeting people. I love gaining different perspectives and having a good old natter into the early hours.
I'm relatively chilled, pretty easy going and accommodating to hosts and visitors. Drop me a message and I'll be happy to chat.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people, travel on a modest student budget and show people round my city!
Interests
First and foremost cities are my main passion. I love learning about urban life in my personal and work domains. This has encouraged my desire to travel and experience places that I've read about.
Apart from this, I love Travel, Music, Food, Meditation and exercise pretty frequently. My bike is an essential part of my urban life in Manchester, while walking and running are regular components of my week.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love contemporary music, I'm into Indie bands, love a bit of Hip Hop and R&B and enjoy unearthing hidden Rock n' Roll and Mowtown tracks from the 1960s. More recent stuff includes anything from SOAK to Jamie XX via Kendrick Lamar and Tame Impala.
I'm interestingly not that much of a literary mind. I blame that on my current time constraints, working while studying. I like a bit of film noir. I go to the cinema every now and then, follow current affairs pretty closely and induldge in trash TV much too often (shhh... don't tell anyone!).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled through Iran last year. I visited the ancient Persian city of Persepolis - absolutely mind blowing place. A beautiful country to travel through.
A Lonely Planet guide reassured me to go there and once I arrived I didn't look back. The people, the cities, the music, the culture were all majestic and totally inspirational. A far cry from the image of the country we're probably accustomed to in Europe. The kids on the streets of Tehran can kick it - they were as cool as any in Berlin or Barcelona. They don't show you that (nor the art cafes or bootleg booze!) on the TV news back home.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've got a mind full of various bits and pieces, but whether you'll necessarily learn much from me, I wouldn't dare to say!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Knowledge of the history, music, culture and urban life of Manchester, with a huge dollop of civic bias - I'm a native.
I like to cook, especially asian (thai) and mediterranean (tapas) food. I'm easy going - I love both late night chats over a beer, a bit of a dance in a dingy city centre venue or down time at home.
