Overview
About Me
I am a student at the University of Georgia. I love to travel and meet new people from all different cultures and backgrounds! My hobbies at home include rock climbing, camping, and walking my cats.
Apologies for the slightly barren profile, I am new to couchsurfing but I will work on developing it before my travels!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My friends and I are planning on traveling across Europe during December 2017 and we heard couchsurfing is a fun way to meet people in each country. We love making new friends when we travel together!
Interests
I love learning history, and while in Europe I want to take in as much history as I can. I also love anything outdoors (kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, etc), so anyone outdoorsy is a good match for us!
I also enjoy politics and writing. I am the Marketing Director and Staff Writer for a publication called the Georgia Political Review. (And as an American I do apologize to the rest of the world for Donald Trump)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music- anything alternative (21 Pilots, alt-j, etc); or old-school 90s hip hop (Mos Def, Blackalicious, even some Tribe Called Quest)
Movies- I hate to admit it but I do watch more Rom-Coms than I should and I have cried during Love, Actually; sorry for my terrible movie taste!
Books- I love non-fictions; particularly science and nature books. My favorite author is David Quammen, and last summer I got to interview him in Bozeman, Montana for that college magazine I write for!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went skydiving when I turned 18, best experience of my life.
Also I've lived in Montana for 10 weeks last summer, on a ranch that was 30 miles from a town of 800 people. The isolation and freedom of the American West was incredible and I hope one day to move back to the Rockies.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love listening to people's stories, particularly from their travels, and to gather a fair amount of traveling stories of my own :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a great, outgoing personality and my boyfriend is very good at cooking, so we can make meals for any gracious hosts :) (and hopefully learn some of your recipes)
