Overview
About Me
Hey! I'm a student recently graduated from a sustainability/development studies Bachelor in Canberra, Australia. My next plan is to head to Chile and Argentina through 2018 to explore a part of the world I've always been fascinated with. I love meeting new people, sharing stories and embracing new experiences. I've done plenty of this while hitching through Europe and all over outback Australia. I'm hoping to do the same as I travel through Chile and Argentina.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that the best way to truly appreciate and understand a place is through interacting with people. CSurfing allows me to meet new people, share stories and properly explore and experience the places I visit while traveling, while hosting enables me to share this with you for my home.
Interests
Open to new things, but generally I love the outdoors and anything relating to the 'wild'. Hiking/camping, trail running, kayaking, cycling (although at the moment I watch more cycling than actually doing it) are always enjoyable.
I also love relaxing over a beer, coffee or good food with friends and family, just to unwind and catch up. Banter is always enjoyable.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Pretty eclectic-ranges from deep house and to classical, indie rock to jazz. Largely depends on what I'm doing/feeling.
Movies: Anything provocative, informing, inspiring or outdoorsy.
Books: Huge range. Am always keen for a good book so looking for your recommendations. I always love to read and learn about the places I'm going, so at the moment, basically anything on Chilean and Argentinean Patagonia.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A lot of good memories but laying in the snow while star gazing under a clear night sky at Glen Coe in Scotland was incredible!
Teach, Learn, Share
Sharing stories, a meal/beer, cooking, conversation.
Traveling through Europe in the past has made me fascinated with learning new languages. Although this is difficult to do in Aus, I am keen to begin.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Interesting conversation over some tasty meals (mostly curries at the moment-still expanding my repertoire), gardening is always a joy.
I am also clean and polite. While I like to talk and hang out, I also definitely respect people's privacy and space.
Countries I’ve Visited
