I grew up in Zimbabwe on a farm, and moved to Australia in December 2004. In Australia I have lived on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Perth, and Karratha.

2015 and 2016 I won't be accepting guests as I will be travelling the globe!

To meet new and interesting people. Share knowledge and stories.

I stayed on many a couch on my travels, and would like to repay the favour! Not that I'm done surfing myself!!

I am very much an outdoors person. I love the ocean, freediving, SCUBA diving, snorkeling, kite boarding, hiking, camping, fishing, rock climbing, sailing, and especially traveling!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a bit of everything, except heavy rock/metal. Progressive and deep house music has a special place.

I try to read when I can. I try to stick to nonfiction books as I love to learn!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bought a motorbike in Vietnam and rode 3000km down the length of the country, taking the least traveled routes.

Bought a van in Canada and traveled mostly solo through BC, AB, YT and Alaska covering over 20,000km.

Teach, Learn, Share

Love to learn new things. I'm good with my hands and with physics, mechanics and engineering type things.

I try to always put other people's interests before my own.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Of course I can share travel recommendations, stories and advice.

I always help out with cleaning, tidying, and am pretty good at handyman type fixing.

Any host I stay with will always be welcome at my place, wherever it is.
