ABOUT ME

Currently a soldier stationed in Germany. Trying to get outdoors as much as possible and travel around whenever I have time. I enjoy playing just about any sport, hiking, biking, scuba diving, and generally being outside. I enjoy my beer and wine and hanging out with friends.

I like meeting new people and getting into unexpected adventures. Its all about making stories for the grandchildren one day.

I've done a little surfing in the past and finally have a place I can open up to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I took a short solo trip through Marseille and Toulon using CS and had a great time! I definitely plan on using CS in future travels and finally am in a place where I can host myself a bit.

Interests

Just about any sport, reading, outdoors, exploring. I like SCUBA diving, snowboarding, biking, tennis, hiking, soccer, frisbee, rock climbing, just about anything. I enjoy just about any kind of food and like eating foods from all different parts of the world. I also enjoy my wine especially. I do a little homebrewing with meads from time to time. I also really enjoy shooting pretty much any type of firearm. That is definitely one thing I miss about living in the States....

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many different genres of books, but specifically SciFi. Favorite books include Starship Troopers, The Road, 1984, and many others.

I like lots of music as well, but especially soft rock and indie like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Modest Mouse, Bush, The Dudes, The White Stripes, Mumford and Sons, Lana del Rey and many more. Time and a place for any music.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm currently trying to learn more language in general specifically I want to work more on my French and am willing to help anyone wanting to learn some English. I'm always down to exchange stories of adventures and try to make some new ones.

If you are interested in homebrew I usually have a batch or two of wine or mead cooking and can show how to get into this.
