My Name is Rosa, I’m originally from Ghana, but grew up in Zimbabwe for the most part. I did my undergrad in Beloit, Wisconsin. During that time, I had the opportunity of studying abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France. After graduating I spent 8 months interning in Washington DC before moving to Geneva for my masters in International Trade and Finance, and a minor in Environment, Resources and Sustainability. I love to travel and meet new people, and to get a first hand experience of new cultures. I feel very blessed to be met with these experiences and hope to continue globe-trotting!

I am Couchsurfing to get the most wholesome experience out of traveling. I think it’s important to connect with locals when traveling in order to get an authentic taste of your new environment.

I’m a huge lover of music, and play the acoustic guitar. I also enjoy the occasional audio-book when my headphones aren’t blasting music.

I love learning languages! I’m currently learning French and Portuguese. I’d love to teach English to anyone who is interested. We could have a language exchange. I’m also down to teach some basic guitar tunes.

I love to cook! I have mastered many plant-based and vegetarian dishes, Ghanaian dishes, and other meat-dishes too. When I’m not in class, in transit, or watching Netflix, I’m filling the air with a heavenly aroma in the kitchen. If you’re down to exchange recipes, let me know!
