Overview
About Me
I'm Rosa Giulia and I'm originally from Ireland. I began a BA in drama and creative writing in Bristol in the UK in September 2016 but after completing my first year of the course I dropped out and moved to Lisbon. I lived and worked there for over a year with my best friend which was an amazing experience. I am now preparing myself to return to university in September, when I'll be studying Applied theatre and Community Drama.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love seeing the differences in how people live their lives and I think it's a great way for people to mix their cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not too picky with music. A few of my favourites are Parov Stelar, Skepta and Glass Animals. I'm very into films and spend a lot of my evenings watching them. It is too difficult to choose a few all time favourite films as it really depends on my mood and what type of film I'm after. The best film I've ever seen is Victoria and if you're into cinema you need to check it out! Some other films I really love are Morvern Callar, Raw and American Honey. Margaret Atwood is one of my firm favourite authors and as a rule I mainly focus on fiction. My favourite playwrights are Martin McDonagh and Caryl Churchill.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitched for 11 hours with my best mate to a tiny festival in the north of Portugal where we turned out to be the only non Portuguese people.
Countries I’ve Lived In
England, Ireland, Portugal
