I'm currently taking a break from my work as a project manager in digital marketing to visit Central America on my own for six weeks. I chose Central America because I love jungles, volcanoes and beaches but I am also excited about meeting lots of different people along the way!

I'm very easy to make laugh and I like meeting groups of friends. I love sharing great food and wine or beer with people. I'm adventurous; my hobbies at home include hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, surfing, swimming and anything that takes me out into a national park.

At home, I live in Bristol with my boyfriend and a typical weekend consists of going to the pub with a group of friends or having people round for dinner, going out to the countryside for a walk or on our mountain bikes and relaxing on the sofa while watching a film or reading a book.

I like the idea of being able to meet lots of new people on my travels and being shown their favourite bits of the places I am visiting, as well as sharing my favourite bits of Bristol with people when I return.

I took a group of ten 15-18 year olds on a month long trip to Tanzania; we climbed Mt Kilimanjaro and I had to help two of them off the mountain after they came down with altitude sickness.
