ABOUT ME

I travel a lot with work, mainly in the Middle East and former Soviet Union, working for an International NGO as a Women's Rights advisor. Have met some wonderful people along the way, but only recently heard about couch surfing!

I'm from London, but live in Oxford with my boyfriend of 5 years. Before Uni I taught English in Nepal and then back-packed in South East Asia. Think that sparked my passion for travelling, new places, new people, and working to make the world a better and more just place. I went to University in Brighton, where I studied Social Anthropology and International Development.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am totally new to Couch Surfing, but have heard so many great things from people I know I thought it was about time I give it a go!

Interests

I love music festivals, fancy dress, shisha, camping, silly dancing, watching the sunrise or sunset, changing my haircut, scuba diving, sailing, reading novels, box-sets, singing out-of-tune in the bath. I love good food. Lebanese food is a real favourite. I'm vegetarian, but not of the fussy variety! I am passionate about gender equality and women's rights. Trying to play the ukelele, but badly!
