Hi! I study languages at the University of Potsdam which is one of the reasons I like to travel.. Or maybe rather the other way around: I like to travel and this is why I study languages. ':D. Whatsoever, I like chatting with people from other countries and love skiing and windsurfing but I am open to new outdoor activities as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am interested in meeting people from all over the world since it is exciting to get to know how other people live, what is special about their culture and customs and how they think about various topics. And, of course, it is awesome to travel if you have friends everywhere. This makes it much easier to experience real life in a place and not just see the typical touristic attractions ( of which I, nevertheless, would like to see some. Haha).
By the way, this also works for my own city. Although I grew up in Berlin, there is still a lot to see. And since people from elsewhere usually have a different view on your hometown it could even help me to get to know it even better.

Music, Movies, and Books

For going out I like electro, for just listening to music I prefer different styles...hm.. Naming some artists makes it easier, I think. Calle 13, The trouble notes, Adele, Lasse Mattiessen, José González, Adele, Ludovico Einaudi, aso.

I do not really have a favourite movie... I think... As my favourite books I could name "Der Schwarm" by Frank Schätzing and till now still undefeated is "Harry Potter", the creator of my childhood dreams. Haha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef was one of the best experiences in my life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Since I study at the University of Potsdam (still to become a teacher one day but I will change my course soon..hopefully) and am usually quite busy with my studies. However, if you decide to stay at our place, me and my flatmates will try to spend some time with you (if you like) and give you as much information as possible about cool bars, cafés, clubs, theatres, flea markets and other places you should visit. We could also cook dinner together and just chill in our kitchen with some glasses of wine (we like wine :D, but also have a box of beer or tea).
