ABOUT ME

I feel that I have all the world in front of me to be discovered. I love travelling to any place, but mostly I enjoy landscapes, mountains, the sea... just being in contact with nature.
I think I am an open-minded person who is willing to meet new people all over the world and likes to laugh, learn, have fun... that's actually what we are meant to do in this world. I also have an special interest in learning languages, even though I still have a lot to improve. I love writing and the photography. I'd you'd like to see some of my pics: @sobre_lamarcha ❤️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I decided to join this community some years ago when I started my Erasmus period in The Netherlands and turned out to be a great way to meet people in many different cities and specially it gave me the chance to enjoy the city with someone who really knew it. I have been a couchsurfer myself for some years and right now that I have my own flat I am glad to host people and help them as lot of people did with me back when I was travelling. I just think that is amazing that a community like this can exist, people who are willing to open the door of their house for free, just to meet, to share experiencies and to be helpful to the visitors.

Interests

I enjoy spending my time reading, cycling, listening to the music, climbing or just walking, if possible always in the middle of the nature. Obviously I love travelling and knowing different places all over the planet, but mostly I love talking to people from everywhere that teach me that life is bigger than what I used to think, that you need to open your mind and cross boundaries in order to see that there is life further, and actually, there is life in any place you want it to be.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love reading all kinds of books, specially essays and novels. I am also very interested in travel books because I love to feel that I am actually in THAT place when I read them.
I love Jack London's books, specially "The call of the wild" , "White fang" and "Martin Eden". I like Bergman's movies, my favourite one is Autumn Sonata.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Enjoy the Patagonia, a unique place that marked me greatly: each mountain, lake, river, glacier... was just amazing.
I also enjoyed my time in Sydney, the Opera House and the amazing beaches!I think that any daily task can become amazing if you want it and you are surrounded of great people. I spent some amazing months backpacking in South Africa and Madagascar, I felt so free... Just waking up in the morning and decide where to go and what to do.
Anyway, I think that any trip I do is amazing for so many different reasons!

Teach, Learn, Share

Always listen to the people who talk with love and humbleness, who doesn't try to impose you but just to show you with the heart. Learn about them and spread happiness wherever you go. As I say so many times in the profile, travelling as many of the things in life, is about sharing the moment with others.
