About Me
When I fall in love with some place, activity or person I tend to give myself fully.
I'm always looking for new experiences and impulses, although I'm not necessarily an impulsive person. I like observing, analysing and philosophising. Especially about the human mind and behavior, but also about life in general and the spiritual side of it. I experience and feel most things intensely, and though it can push me out of balance, I wouldn't want to miss that. Over the years I got to inhabit and sink into my body more and more, learned to carry the deep emotions that swing by from time to time. Be more grounded. Connected.
I try to live by listening to what my heart tells me, even if some experiences might potentially turn out very differently than I'd hoped. Makes life worthwhile.
My main drives in life are currently yoga, meditation, traveling, and bouldering. I'm in search of playfulness which I think is a remedy to get back in touch with your inner child. I've been through a deep process in the last four years, going through old trauma, diving into deeply rooted patterns and finding a way to surrender/letting go of them. It's a lifelong journey I guess. Currently discovering who I am if I don't have to 'achieve' or improve myself constantly.
I love making music, especially playing the piano and singing. I love to draw, which I find meditative, or write, or read. Connecting with others, and being on the same frequency, lifts up my soul.
''Why are the cravings of the heart so often overshadowed by the mind
If in the heart true knowledge it is we find
Let fear not lead you to be confined
The soul is brave where the mind is blind''
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people, learn about their country, culture, ways of thinking, philosophies and experiences. Traveling is inspiring, a journey to get to know yourself, to see things from other perspectives, connect and open your heart. There is so much in the world that is different from what you know and that's amazing.
