About Me

ABOUT ME

A business and economics student from Ireland currently working in Chicago for the summer and hoping to squeeze in a bit of travelling in the meantime cause working 50 hour weeks isn't always fun...

Hoping to squeeze in as many cultural and fun things in my time in America as well as meeting some greet people, whether it be propped up on a bar stool or staying on someones couch!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I haven't had any experience on this actual couchsurfing website - by being unable to find accommodation in both Dublin last year before the start of college and Chicago when we arrived to work here, I have been lucky enough to have friends and friends of friends put me up for lengthy periods of time.

Also from my travels in South East Asia last summer - I'm used to sleeping rough on dodgy hammocks, floors and barely there mattresses but still having a great time.

Interests

A country music fan, a huge soccer fan and love watching and attempting sport of any kind.
Also a keen traveller and hopefully will be able to travel the world once finished up as a student.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Cambodia Killing Fields - a site in which the bodies of many killed in the mass genocide by the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia were buried. This really put my life in perspective and made me think that if this could happen only 30 years ago, how can we go about stopping it happening again?

Teach, Learn, Share

Those with a vast amount of life experiences, whether old or young, happy to learn from their mistakes and teach others to do so.
