About Me
CURRENT MISSION
figuring out how to permanently escape the nasty desk job
ABOUT ME
Hello world! I am an insomniac, an aspiring chef, completely scatter brained, and the world's worst procrastinator. I'm really easy going and get along with other merry people. I love trying new things- new hobbies, new foods, new places, and I will like you if you can teach me something new.
PHILOSOPHY
Live, laugh, love, and every day try to leave the world just a little better than it was when you woke up
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host when I can, know a decent number of people from the local CS community, and would like to meet some more people when traveling myself!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had great hosts and great guests, and hope it continues
Interests
Cooking, reading, major music addict, going to concerts & the theater whenever I can afford it, mixing potent drinks, and hosting parties. I do martial arts, love to camp & hike, travel of course, and abhor free time. I seem to constantly find random projects to tackle, with very varying degrees of success...
When traveling I soak up history and visit as many museums as possible, and am usually ready to keep going all night, why waste time sleeping?

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies- I love action movies, sci-fi, and historical/period films. Fave is definitely Braveheart, also love LOTR, Boondock Saints, L'Auberge Espagnole, Underworld, Waking Ned Devine, kung-fu movies
Music- almost everything! rock, techno, metal, blues, jazz, classical, early music, folky Irish stuff, different cultural styles
Books- all the classics- I love Dickens, Austen, Dumas. Morgan Llewellyn too, and some fantasy and sci-fi. Oh, and lots of history books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It seems like the littlest things leave you with the most poignant memories.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have so much to learn, I don't feel qualified to teach yet. But I'm always happy to share a cup of tea, a home-cooked meal and a laugh.
If you can teach me to cook some traditional food dish I will be thrilled.
