Overview
About Me
I love to travel to new places, meet new people and learn a little bit of the language along the way.
Right now I work for an interior design company, taking care of their product copy.
My favourite places to be are art galleries, libraries, cinemas, theatres, cafes and my own couch with a cup of tea.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm very new to couchsurfing, but I've always heard good things about it and wanted to try it out.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love fiction from all times and places. Although I like to read famous and renowned authors, I also equally like to surprise myself with authors that I just pick off the shelf in bookshops. Sometimes I delve into non-fiction books about history.
Currently reading: Das Schwarze Buch (The Black Book) by Orhan Pamuk
Recent read: The Vegetarian by Han Kang
Favourite authors: Philip Roth, Franz Kafka, Vladimir Nabokov, Virginia Woolf, Italo Calvino
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once translated a play (just a draft for a workshop!), which was a cool experience: it taught me that translating a work of art is like creating an entirely new work. The play was about the cultrual relationship between Thailand and Germany.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've worked as a tour guide and journalist in Berlin, so I love to share stories about the city. I haven't updated it in a while, but if you're ould like to find some super local and unique places, check it out:
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to share stories, food and drink: for instance, I love baking, and having a cup of tea and a chat with friends. I'd be more than happy to bring you something from Berlin, or even something British to try.
Countries I’ve Lived In
England, Germany
