About Me
Hi all! My name is Rose. Now that I am home I miss meeting new people from around the world on a daily basis, and so I have decided to open my home to people hoping to explore Australia. I think that Newcastle is a beautiful city in a great location. Heaps of amazing beaches, close to Sydney, Port Stephens, and the Hunter Valley, I love it here. :) I work a lot (weekdays and weekends) so I won’t always be free but I’m happy to show you around or give you ideas on what to do. I work for the ambulance on a 4 off 5 on rotation, I can only host on the off days, sorry. For the most part I am also looking to host people who already have references (unless you plead a really good case haha).
Holly (my cat), Heath (my partner), and I would love to host you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couch surfing both to explore the world but also to help others do the same! I love meeting new people and opening my home to people with fantastic travel stories or who are just nice to hang out with. :) I feel blessed to have hosted the 8 people who have stayed with me and shared their lives with me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I know it's not travel related, but I've donated blood 39 times and I think that's a little special #givebloodgivelife
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my couch/home with you and teach you about Australia and give advice on things to do while you're here, both in Newcastle and elsewhere in the country.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We would love to bring all hosts a gift from Australia and we can teach you some Aussie slang!
