Overview
About Me
I love to travel & immerse in the places I visit by spending time exploring "off the trail". I've been actively involved in environmental and social justice initiatives for many years and currently work with a NPO that supports women and children on the margins of society in achieveing personal and economic sustainability.
I'm an entrepreneur, with a lifetime of experience in business management as well as building organizational capacity within non-profits. I live on Great Cranberry Island, Maine in a shared household with Will, a 3rd year at Maine Maritime Academy; Josh, a systems engineer who is restoring a wooden boat at the local boat yard; Rob Roy a friendly yellow lab, and Stallone, the house cat.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of sharing my home with fellow travelers and much rather sleep on a friend's couch or the floor than in a sterile hotel room.
