ABOUT ME
As the poet said Vinicius de Moraes:
Life is art of meeting
Although there is much disagreement for life.
I think I meet with people is always an opportunity for joy, learning and friendship, even when we run the risk of disillusion. I love life with all its incongruities, living is not ashamed to be happy. I want a better world and I work for it. I love nature and I fight to preserve the Brazilian savanna, the Cerrado.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it is an opportunity to make more friends in the world, where time I get people in my house, do people welcomed me into their homes. Only well know a place, when we eat with the locals, hear their stories, learn to look the place through their eyes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A very special moment was to be under the fiqueira where Buddha was enlightened, alongside the current Mahabodhi Temple in Bodhgaya or Bodh Gaya in India which is one of the holiest places in Buddhism to since it is where Siddhartha Gautama, founder of Buddhism, attained enlightenment around the fourth century BC. It are the main places linked to Gautam Buddha: Lumbini, where he was born; Bodhgaya, where he attained enlightenment; Sarnath, the place of his first sermon; Kushinara, where he died. Bodhgaya is considered the holiest of the four sites to be where Buddhism was born.
Teach, Learn, Share
I work at the University of Brasilia on environmental issues, especially, about the wisdom of traditional and indigenous peoples. I love the Cerrado, which is our home, full of twisted trees, true sculptures of nature.
