Overview
About Me
I am from Indiana and I love to travel. I have traveled all over Europe and South America with friends and family (I have a wonderful family ). I teach students from around the world. Love to eat food, hike, and explore new cities.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Grew up with international visitors all the time and it has influenced my career greatly.
I love to travel and meet new people. The best thing about another culture - the people. So I don't want to just visit landmarks, I want to see people and hear their stories.
When I was 18 I spent a year in Chile with 10 people from around the world that I had never met. It was an amazing experience and made me a firm believer in the value of meeting new people. Not only meeting, but sharing space and conversations, time, food, and life for a little bit.
If you really want to have and adventure, you must open up to others and for me that means sharing space. My work as a ESL instructor and Study Abroad advisor is constantly encouraging students to go abroad and helping them find opportunities and use it to develop them personally to become a more globally engaged person.
My little brother (23) and I (27) are doing a European adventure for his first time out of the country! I have never been to Iceland, Scotland, Turkey, Barcelona, or Morocco and would love pointers on things to do and enjoy.
