Hi there, I'm Rosanne, Rose for short. I've just completed my final year of studies in the UK. I was born and raised in a small town in Malaysia before moving to the vibrant capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur for 2 years. I then furthered my studies to the UK and I've been here ever since. I'm very easy going and I love meeting new people, learning about one's culture and I consider myself a foodie. Love trying out new cuisines and checking out places where the locals hang just to see the city from the eyes of the people that live there. As of now, I've visited 16 countries and am hoping to add more to the list. I consider myself a sociable person and I won't have trouble getting along with anyone. We could share great stories and experiences from our lives :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a student, money is a constraint and I've only just discovered this app and would love to try it out as it would save me lots of money which could be spent on transportation and etc. This would also allow me to meet new people and learn a thing or two from them.

Interests

I've always been passionate about law, politics, food and WWE. Haahaha! yes, I am aware that WWE is fake but I grew up watching it and its my favourite thing to watch. Ever since I moved to Europe, I've been enjoying the varieties of different wine here as well as the range of cuisines. It is also so interesting to learn about the history of each site that I visit and I can spend HOURS reading up on facts and events that had taken place at a particular area.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to Rap/Hip Hop, Pop as well as old school music. My parents introduced me to old school artists/bands like Abba, Bee Gees, John Denver, Sting , Bryan Adams and etc. I was also lucky enough to catch Bryan Adams live at Wembley. My favourite rapper would be Travis Scott and my dream to catch him live one day.

I love movies from all sorts of genre, thriller and comedy more than others. I like thriller movies because it bends your mind and makes you revaluate your live as well. Also proud to say that I've watched every Marvel (MCU) movie. It's such an amazing franchise. Also, Brooklyn 99 has to be one of my favourite tv shows!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hmm, well, there are more than one memorable thing that I've done. But to sum up, I'd say that moving to Europe has been the greatest adventure of my life. I came here not knowing anyone, but I grew to love Europe and made many great friends. I've had the best laughs and memories with them and would love to make more.
