ABOUT ME

I'm from South Africa, but spent most of my childhood living in the UK.
I've grown up with a slightly mad, but very passionate mother and political father. I love music, dancing, photography, art, documentary films and anthropology.

In 2010, looking for a new adventure I cycled from London to Barcelona. I then lived on a little sailing boat for a year until I finally settled down into an apartment with two cute kittens. I LOVE Barcelona and I'm enjoying my life here surrounded by people from all over the world.

I will always have the travel bug though and I'm currently planning to cycle from Vancouver to Argentina in 2013.

I'm often have guests staying in my house so I'm always very considerate when I stay in other people's houses. I love meeting new people so if you're around and have time to chat amazing, but I'm independent, and a fairly early riser and definitely like to get out and about around the city / local area rather than spending lots of time in-doors.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am still very new to Couch Surfing, but am very much looking forward to traveling and meeting new people. I have a spare double bed at my house in Barcelona so am also always happy to have people stay with me in return!

playing music, photography, anthropology, documentary's, travel, cycling, long-distance cycling, swimming, walks, nature, animals, people, dancing. I also LOVE really good quality food, whether it's a delicious bottle of Alella white wine or some home-brewed beer or fish caught fresh. I really enjoy sharing a good meal with god people .... and I love cooking :)

I'm also really passionate about improving my Spanish - particularly if I'm going to spend the next 2 years of my life cycling through South America! So any excuse to travel around Spain and hang out with lots of Spanish people is always a huge plus.
