COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Through CS I’ve made friendships from Afghanistan to New Zealand, which has made traveling a rock n'roll adventure.

Interests

Creative writing, photography, super-funky beat boxing, playing xbox, reading, hiking, bare-knuckle prize fighting with radio-active monkey's, unpretentious art exhibitions, graphic novels, silent cinema, I suck at most sport(s), contemporary cinema, pencil line sketching, listening to anything with a good beat, unwelcomed freestyle rap battles with strangers, filmmaking, playing my guitar really badly, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... (something something??)

Oh wait, that's a quote from a Ridley Scott movie.

On a serious note, growing up in South Africa and being apart of the collapse of the apartheid government was something that shaped who I am today. Standing amongst friends and family in Cape Town while Nelson Mandela delivered his inaugural speech was unforgettable.

Even still, “Blade Runner’s” a pretty badass movie.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching English/Mathematics and enjoy learning about other cultures. Being able to work and travel abroad has been an amazing opportunity.
