I was born and raised in the Midlands in England (near the beautiful Cotswolds) and have lived there all my life. I am travelling Canada for a few months and have spent most of my time exploring BC and Alberta and have fallen in love with the mountains and all that Canada has to offer! I first came to Canada in 2019 as part of a university study abroad program and travelled a little then but came back to travel slower and more in depth.
During my travels I have mostly been staying in hostels and using Workaway to meet people but thought I would give couchsurfing another go whilst I'm on the road!
I love being outdoors, hiking, yoga, reading, animals and exploring, and love meeting new people and locals along the way.
I am also fully vaccinated and respectful of people's homes during Covid-19.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been travelling aroud Canada for the last 4 months and have spent most of my trip in BC and Alberta with 1 week in Toronto at the start. I have loved all that Canada has thrown at me so far and I am ready to make more amazing memories and think that couchsurfing is a fantastic opportunity for that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a wide range of music - from pop/chart music such as Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran - to rock such as Greenday and My Chemical Romance - to throwback classics such as 80s classics, I love it all!

I recently finished studying film at university (in England, with 1 semester in Canada) and so have seen a wide range but like with music I love most things - my favorites include: Into the Wild (2007), Pretty Woman (1990), Love, Rosie (2014), Shutter Island (2010) and Seven (1995).

I also love to read and have loved using book swaps in hostels along my journey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved away from my home to Canada for 7 months of university and travel - this was a nerve-wracking but exciting step for me to move away to somewhere completely different where I knew no-one - but the experience has been a trip of a lifetime!

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't have much to teach I guess but I am always willing to learn and try new things. I am happy to cook/help out and I also love a good game of cards and love to teach/learn new ones on my travels. I would love to share the experience that comes with couchsurfing that includes sharing your home with a fellow traveler.
