I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe the best way to experience any place in with world is with people who know it well. Talking with locals about art, culture, and the city they live in is my favorite thing to do. Let's hang out, experience cool stuff, and make the world feel a little more familiar!

I am constantly listening to music; Folk, Americana, Blues, Jazz, Black Metal, dream pop, kitschy 80s dance music, instrumental hip-hop, Pink Floyd.
I love to read, especially foundational philosophy and humanities texts, and old mythology from every cultural tradition.
Bryan Fuller's Hannibal is my favorite show of all time, if you like this show we gotta talk about it.
I love horror movies, especially the practical effects goopy monster ones.

I lived in an ambulance for four months, driving around the American Southwest, PNW, and southern Canada.
I summited Mt. Marathon in Seward, Alaska and Long's Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park (my first and only 14-er!)
Hiked active volcanoes in Costa Rica

I love to cook, especially with friends! I would gladly prepare dinner for/with my host.
I really enjoy meeting and talking with new people, but I am also happy to give you space if that's what you prefer. I keep all of my spaces very clean, and I am always happy to pitch in with chores.
I am an experienced seamstress, and if tools are provided I could lend a hand mending clothes.
I'll watch David Lynch films with you.
