I moved to Denver in 2020 after spending a year abroad in Austria as an Au-pair, working for an amazing family and traveling all around on the weekends. Couchsurfing was my favorite way to travel during that time; I met so many amazing people through this app and want to continue to support it as best I can!

Put quite simply, I love meeting new people. Traveling is great, but sharing a travel experience with someone is even better.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like that one genre that doesn’t have a specific label - maybe alt-indie-pop-EDM would best describe my taste in music. Try listening to Cannon’s album Shadows. That’s kind of my regular vibe.

As for movies - my favorites are A Beautiful Mind, Les Intouchables, the LOTR series. If a movie makes me cry, it must be very good (the first two I mentioned are one of the 4 movies that have ever made me shed a tear).

I love reading. Right now I’m into nonfiction. My favorite books are Jane Eyre, the Harry Potter series, the Forest of Hands and Teeth series, and A Mind Unraveled. These are all very different, but every time I read them, I’m taken back to a certain time and a certain feeling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled to St. Petersburg and met with orphans who just graduated from a post-orphanage school that teaches them skills for how to thrive in the world
