ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Rose and I'm 27 years old. I'm a traveling teacher and am using my profession to explore the world (this is a continuing effort). I'm very easy going and enjoy meeting new people, from all backgrounds and cultures. My travel/life partner is my boyfriend, Patrick, and most couch requests will be for the both of us!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm still new to CS and have only surfed once before with my boyfriend. We spent an amazing weekend in Amsterdam with a women named Evelyn. She helped show us the non-touristy side of the city and took us to some great restaurants. It was a wonderfully refreshing experience to be taken in by a stranger and by the end of the weekend to have made a new friend.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the most amazing thing i've done was to live on a tiny little island in the middle of the pacific ocean in a thatch hut built just for me. i drank coconuts and ate fresh fish everyday. i learned to play the ukulele and wore a muumuu. no electricity, no running water, just 100 other people that spoke no english living a very raw/beautiful life.
