ABOUT ME

I feel like I'm comfortably crazy. Meaning that I'm energetic, always enjoying the little things like knowing how to whistle or being able to sing when no one's around. I really don't have much reason to ever be pessimistic, I'm always positive about life and some people might think that's crazy and unrealistic but I don't mind. I like thinking that the world is a kind place and that the people in it just need a little bit of love- so call me mad.

I like to have a good time out but I can't deny that I love sitting in my comfies and reading a book. Just can't get enough: People, nature, books, music are some things that I just can't get enough of. Most of all I feel like those are the things I can share most with others. We're all just one big family with a few disconnected lines here and there.

I'm currently obsessed with arts and crafts, anything I can get my hands on. I spray paint, finger paint and color in books. I love food and I wish I had more time to be a master chief. I listen to just about anything musically. Though, I dislike country and have a hard time rocking out to heavy metal but maybe I just haven't heard the right song yet.

Random acts of kindness!
I received a birthday card under my door last week stating this,

"Life is sweet but even sweeter with the unexpected blessings of random people. I wish you the strength of an ox, courage that would led you to unexpected experiences and friendships; a boldness of character that would protect you; and a spirit of friendship that would truly make your life a song to be sung. So awesome! I went out last night in Dublin with a big bouquet of flowers and handed them out to people telling them to have a a magnificent day. Got some good responses and some surprisingly negative reactions but all in all I really enjoy random acts of kindness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm happily inspired by Couchsurfing and constantly excited about the new adventures that CS can bring. Plus the people are freaking awesome. Read a quote today on someone's CS page that said "if you want to touch the sky then fuck a duck and try to fly". Just glad to be apart of it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS experiences in Northern Ireland. Just two nights so I'd like to plan a more extensive trip to spend more time with my hosts and get to see more. It's been good so far.

Currently reading the Hunger Games (like everybody else) and Blue Girl. I went to a book fair at my library last month and it was "everything you can fit in to a bag" for $1.00 type of sale so I grabbed about 12 books that I know nothing about but are now on my reading list. Love it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got on a plane and moved to a new country half way across the world- everything was new and wonderful. I can hardly explain the excitement of going somewhere new everyday. Europe has took me in kindly and I enjoyed every minute of the four months I studied abroad.
Living in Colorado, the Rocky Mountains are something to be seen and experienced every time I look out my window.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to share my new found love of American Sign Language. The Deaf Community is amazing and I just wish there were more people who knew ASL so I could chat with more people. I also know a thing or two about Macro-Make and would totally love to show others how to do it.
I want to learn more about cooking and different foods from different parts of the world.
