About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Saving money for my next big trip!
ABOUT ME
Traveller. Dutch. Falls in love with anything very easily. Loves partying. Loves life. Just graduated. Childpsychologist.
The one thing I've always wanted is to travel, and the entire 'studying - work for 50 years - husband - kid - grandkids' scares me shitless. I want to see the world. I want to enjoy it. I wanna see all the continents (including Antartica!).
PHILOSOPHY
The truest thing I've ever heard:
“For all of the most important things, the timing always sucks. Waiting for a good time to quit your job? The stars will never align and the traffic lights of life will never all be green at the same time. The universe doesn't conspire against you, but it doesn't go out of its way to line up the pins either. Conditions are never perfect. "Someday" is a disease that will take your dreams to the grave with you. Pro and con lists are just as bad. If it's important to you and you want to do it "eventually," just do it and correct course along the way.” - Timothy Ferris
Oh and the reason I just use my first name is not because I want to murder you, it is because I do not want future employers and cliënts to find me on google :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet new people! People who live in a city know it better than any guidebook ever will.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite movie: Cloud Atlas. (And The Lion King will always hold a special place in my heart)
Music: Pretty much anything. I love dance and house (surprisesurprise, I'm Dutch!), but I like a lot of different genres.
Books: Not much of a reader, I enjoy thrillers from time to time, as well as non-fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I jumped out of a plane at 14,000 feet in Mission Beach, QLD, Australia. I thought that was pretty fucking amazing haha.
Most amazing thing I've ever seen: The nightsky on Fraser Island, Australia. That and White Haven Beach, Australia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning random facts. Did you know that you can know if a storm's coming by looking if birds are flying lower than usual? Because of the airpressure and the electric charge in the air, the insects are flying lower. Since the birds eat them, they'll start flying lower too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My fun personality and my terrible sense of humor. Oh and my great hot chocolate ;)
