About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To become a polyglot, and collect stories from all over the world, of the weird, wonderful, wicked and whimsical

ABOUT ME

Relaxed, arty type. Street smart, mature, more of a picnic and books type than a 24 hour party person.
I like movies, museums, shopping, dancing and socialising at bars, planning out all my travels then ignoring the plan completely when I get there.

I love to meet new people (when I don't have jet lag) so bringing me along as the Australian novelty to meet your friends is fine by me :)
I'm self sufficient, so if you're very busy, with a spare couch but no spare time, I'll happily spend my days out and about.

I've lived in share houses for six years, so I'm well housetrained with things like stacking the dishwasher and replacing the milk when I finish it. I clean up after myself and keep my belongings tidy and out of the way.

I like to get a good night's sleep most of the time, but I love to stay up late talking, telling stories and drinking wine.

I've been a nanny for six years too, so I'd love to stay in a house with kids once in a while, and I'm happy to help out.

PHILOSOPHY

A witty saying proves nothing- Voltaire

Wherever life takes me, I'll always value the following over all else: Sleep, Wifi, Lonely Planet pictorials, blutac, my jeans, my sister (but don't tell her that) and coffee.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking to couch surf though Western Europe, then return the favour to the surfing community when I get back to Melbourne in July/August 2014.

Interests

Writing, reading , cinema, photography, live music and classical, swimming, climbing, running, dancing, gardening, and watching the world go by from a cafe.

Home for a me is a shared apartment above a trendy street of design shops and organic cafes. Every Sunday I pull on jeans, grab my favourite coffee cup, stumble downstairs to the cafe, and wake up with a coffee and newspaper on my balcony. Wherever I go, I'd like to live above a cafe (preferably with a barista who finds my bed hair charming)
