I've been traveling on and off the last couple years and discovered CS during my first solo trip in Europe. Since that summer I've continued to travel by backpacking, volunteering through work exchanges, and settling semi-permanently in Mexico. I now live in Guadalajara, Mexico where I teach English online and do other freelance jobs.

My personality is usually laid-back and relaxed, I do my best to keep stress and worries out of my life. Sometimes I love to be spontaneous and explore without a plan, other times I like to be more organized. Depends on the day. I am always up for experiencing something new, especially if it involves trying new foods/drinks.

I think the best way to get to know a new place is connecting with the local people. I've learned so much from staying with people around the world and love sharing our experiences and cultures. Couchsurfing is a great community not only to find a place to sleep, but also to hang out and get to know locals and other travelers. When I'm not traveling I continue to use this platform to meet travelers visiting my city and participate in events.

I recently became interested in photography and although I am in the very beginning stages I find it a lot of fun! I also like to cook/eat and learn about a culture from its food. I studied environmental science at university and continue to be passionate about sustainability.
