I've got a lot of solo backpacking and hitchhiking experience from mexico and Europe. I love talking about self-reliance and how traveling is the most fun way of doing it. I love nature and hiking. I also like talking about politics and cerebral topics so I'm a good bet for a buddy. The most important thing to me is being in a non-judgmental, celebratory mind-frame. you'll probably notice when you meet me :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think its important to know locals individually. Just hopping around cities has the awful potential to make new places and people seem tedious. By knowing a local for a few nights, I feel like I have a new, vivid perspective to remember a city by.
