I am a sign language linguist who is currently on her sabbatical abroad - spending 3 months in the States and 9 months in the UK. I am road-tripping at the moment with my car, Chez! Looking to meet local people and to socialize. I grew up in the UK, and I love to travel.

I have couchsurfed in Chicago, England, Greece. Now I live with my partner in Tiv'on and I love it!

New to hosting but have loved my experience of being hosted in Chicago, England and Greece.

Interests

I have worked with the deaf community in the Uk and Israel for a number of years now and so I have a passion for sign languages and visual ways of communicating. I personally love to walk and run. Recently I got back into doing park runs on a Saturday! I also used to run marathons so I aspire to be as fit as my former self. To relax, I like to watch films. And of course, I love to travel. To meet people and to see things and experience things - typically I like a nice mix of culture and nature - seeing a cave or going on a walk in a botanical garden to going to a show or visiting a memorial or murial.
