À propos de moi

I m girl whose only fear is to be trapped in one place for the rest of my life. So I love travel, it rejuvenates me, makes me grow as a person.
I see myself as pleasant, friendly and kind. I dont like taking advantage or being taken advantage off. That said for all my hosts, I am very grateful to you and you willingness to share your home with me.
So far I have only couchsurfed once ( Hannah was amazing!), and I havent really been able to host anyone. This is because I am studying abroad, and my student accomodation doesnt allow much room for this. However, if I have the opportunity, I would love to at least meet up!

WARNING: I tend to be quite talkative! All you need to do to make me shut up is say the word. No offence will ever be taken!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I will be honest, I am BROKE!
Well not really, but couchsurfing does make my travel dreams a little bit more possible.

I have been travelling solo for a while now. And the best part about that is all the times you are NOT alone. From India, to Vietnam, Cambodia, I have met the most AMAZING people during my travels; locals, hosts, other travelers etc.; and in my heart this is what makes travelling worthwhile. People teach me so much, imparting knowledge as well as helping me discover myself ( I am pretty lost).

And that's the main reason I am on Couchsurfing. To know is to love. I want to get to know my hosts and discover your cities through your eyes. Because at the end of the day that's what gives me my memories and stories .

That said, my one experience with couchsurfing has been great! The fact that a " stranger" opens their doors to another "stranger" in a foreign country. Inviting them not only into their homes but also a small part of their lives- thats special. And thats what makes my travels special to me. If I am couchsurfing at your place, I would like to know YOU and see your city through YOUR EYES. And I try to be as honest as possible.

Centres d'intérêt

Travel, photography( still a newbie at that), also recently broke my camera in a freak accident in Vietnam-broke my heart.
Languages ( always ready to learn a new language)
People( i love people and find them fascinating- not in the stalker kind of way though, rest assured)
History.. i love stories..when i travel, it gives me perspective. Makes me remember and appreciate a place even more. ( makes me feel smarter too). During my Vietnam trip,
I earned the name "Walking encylopedia" owing to the fact that I keep popping new random facts about history/ culture/something totally random about the places I visit.
Reading: give me a good fiction and I can forget the world around me ( unfortunately dont get much of reading done given my hectic schedule).

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I am very into Indian music, as cheesy and dramatic as it may be. Besides that, love some good R&B, and almost any music( depends on my mood) - as I write this, "Cake by the Ocean" is playing in my mind. I do tend to get hooked on to songs in foreign languages, so maybe you can introduce me to your favourite?
Love fictions, or history themed books. Love Harry Potter -dun judge, I grew up with him.
Currently hooked to Supernatural, love superhero fun, sometime a good comedy, actually pretty much any movie. A good Indian movie also makes the cut!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I took a leap and went to India on my own. Best decision ever. Made frens from all around the world, experienced sights and cultures, learned some life lesson, and came out of it addicted to travel. ( so currently i am craving).

Also, I study medicine, and I am still alive AND I havent dropped out. Pretty amazing I'd say.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I m here to learn anything and everything you have to teach. Esp. New languages, cutures.
I can teach my languages( tamil, malay, english)
I would like us to share experiences, travel in particular, or anything anyone wise has to say to young over-excited youth.
To my future hosts:
If you have ever been curious about Malaysian/ Asian/ Indian culture or history... I can talk... a lot...
And the same goes to listening.

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

The opportunity to meet me. Trust me! I can talk.. a lot.. and listen ( thats where being a medical student helps). I m the kind of person you might not fall in love with the moment you lay eyes on, but my personality would make it hard to walk away.
