About Me

CURRENT MISSION

work hard right now so that I don't have to work hard at 50

ABOUT ME

Sleep a lot(with imaginative dreams!). An expert at making up nonsense instantly when I don't know the answer(It's easy. Whoever having more solemnity wins). No immunity to kindness and susceptible to gentle eyes. Love to cross the line,so no wonder get myself in trouble now and then.
Like sports, excluding those that heavily involve the cerebellum. Alas, swimming, jogging, mountain hiking, etc., are my choice.
As an easy-going person, I'm criticized for being submissive sometimes, probably because I hate raising my voice to get things done. But that's not the truth. Don't be fooled by the Asian female stereotype.
Apart from that, I'm quite fascinated by food, mostly the eating part. I try to invent new dishes all the time, although under 80% of circumstances it turns out to be a disaster.

PHILOSOPHY

"Strong as it is, take it as bleeze sweeping across the mountain; Tough as it is, take it as the moon shining on the river." Somwtimes we have to open our heart and "let it go", too much fear and doublt will make life duller, rather than safer.

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of books, psychology and history especially. Another scope is the cross-bridge type, and literature by non-professionals. But anything goes. One Hundred Years of Solitude, anything by Luxun, L'amant, Guns Germs and Steel, Animal Farm,God's Delusion, Fight Club,etc..For fictions, beauty and passion are the words that win me. Apart from that, bullshiting books that are interesting to read and easily applicable, such as the Naked Ape and Freud. (They say Freud means you say one thing but really means your mother, well, insincerity is part of the fun of life, isn't it?)
For movies, similar taste with books. Usually don't like over serious ones, except for documentaries. Too many favorites, so no list.
Ennn music...I'm exploring classic music right now. Wouldn't pretend to be an expert. But I like the complexity, especially after a drink, maybe. But still huge Fun of Coldplay, Bruno Mars and Andrew Lloyd Webber.OST from Django Unchained is not bad, either. But really, reducing music interest to a few songs is just stupid.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At Teotihuacan, the sun suddenly appeared from back of the clouds. Heavy clouds surrounding the mountains started to shine, looking like golden crowns. A small piece of cloud was totally bathed in sunlight. In a moment it almost seemed to be a ladder to something higher and mightier.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn anything I don't know before, like a dinosaur's name or how to say hello in Javanese; teach a few rubbish medical guidelines or everything about China(well I'm not an know-all, but I can always google)

Countries I’ve Visited
