I hope to meet people who are spontaneous and curious as I am to discover and enjoy life. I see CS as an opportunity to meet authentic people who can show me their country and lifestyle, including their family and friends. For me, travelling is meeting the people who define a land and its beauties.

People, art, surfing/long-boarding, photography, yoga, social projects/charities, festivals, philosophy, off the beaten track exploration/tramping, taking my time eating breakfast wondering who I am and coming to no real conclusion....

Ali Farka Toure, Erykah Badu, Tinariwen, Fat Freddy's Drop, Nas, K'naan, Sufjan Stevens, Manu Chao, Bonobo, Ben Howard, Xavier Rudd, Chronixx to name a few.
Movies: I love art films (Water by Deepa Mehta, Amelie, Into the Wild) or generally films by Tarantino, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Woody Allen, Francis Ford Coppolla.
Books: Leo Tolstoy, Rudyard Kipling, Guy de Maupassant, George Orwell, Pablo Neruda are a few of my favourites.

I can cook vegetarian dishes for you, share my tips on hitchhiking and travelling on a shoestring, teach you how to cruise on a board, how to speak New Zealand-ish or if you're brave enough I have some rocking salsa moves!
In exchange: Teach me about your culture, language, outlooks, unique city or if able how to play the harmonica.
