About Me

I am a curious person, always seeking for the beautiful and happy moments in life. Such moments are when I am cooking delicious vegetarian meals with fresh vegetables from my own garden, when I am dancing like nobody is watching, when I am enjoying a few glasses of wine with my friends or when I am standing atop an Austrian mountain summit, soaking up the stunning view. I am a nature girl. I love being outside, hiking, climbing, going for long walks with our dog and exploring beautiful landscapes and new places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing to meet people, to learn and see something new and to grow personally through discovering new ways of life. Me and my flatmates hosted couchsurfers several times during the last year. It was always very enjoyable to get in contact with different people and cultures from all over the world. I had my first surfing experiences on my trip to the US last year, where I met such kind and fun people. Cant't wait to have more of this great couchsurfing moments.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Captain Fantastic, Into the Wild, Life of Pi, 500 Days of Summer, Inglorious Basterds, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Intouchables, Juno, The Dark Valley....

Music: everything that makes me happy and dancing

Book: At the moment, I am reading "Roter Flieder (The red lilac)" by Rainhard Kaiser-Mühlecker. I like this book because it combines the ironic description of the way of life on the Austrian countryside with fascinating philosophical thoughts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sunrise while sitting on a 1000 year old temple in Bagan, Myanmar was one of the most breathtaking experiences on my journeys. It was amazing to see how the sun lighted up all the pagodas around me in shades of pink and gold.

At the moment I am doing my exchange semester in southern Sweden, which is a great experience. I enjoy every minute of it.
