About Me

Honestly just trying my best to postpone actually having to get my life together by travelling around with friends as much as possible. I've spent my whole life moving and the last three years living in Berlin, and now I'm in the UK for a year doing an art course before I run back to Berlin forever.

I would describe myself as open-minded as well as entirely lacking in common sense but in a funny way. Hedonistic nihilism is the goal, but I also feel like crying when someone yells at me. I'm up to do new things like 65% of the time, but just hanging out with good company is also great.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like taking spontaneous little trips, and not worrying about money for accommodation means I can run away more often. I also like meeting locals or people familiar with a place because I feel that it lends itself to a totally different experience. And no one likes to feel like a tourist.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a ton of different music, from alternative rock to surf pop to new wave. Some of my favourite artists are the Strokes, the Smiths, Talking Heads, Daft Punk and LCD Soundsystem. Also, Tyler, The Creator's new album is so?? good???

Some of my favourite movies are Seven, Nightcrawler, American Beauty, Fight Club, and every DiCaprio/Scorcese collaboration. Also really dig weird French films. I have a long list of my phone that I will happily share and discuss in depth in person.

My attention span doesn't let me read long books so my favourites are all short and sweet, like Slaughterhouse Five, and The Catcher in the Rye, with the exception of my all time favourite, On the Road.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 9th grade, I would self-study in the mornings and in the afternoons I would teach art and drama classes for the younger students at my school in India.

I also flew a plane once.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a bunch of things I read about on Wikipedia instead of doing work. For example, Charles Darwin's grandfathers or a racehorse called Potoooooooo or Z-Boys. Also, Schroedinger's cat is confusing as fuck!

I've found that I'm honestly willing to learn about anything if the person explaining it seems genuinely excited by what they're talking about. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

A definitive list of the best psychological thrillers out there, stories of my crazy family and upbringing, a wide variety of drinking games and, most importantly, all the memes. All of them.

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, Japan, Spain, Thailand, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
