我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Travel is always better when you are staying with friends. I first heard about couchsurfing from a guy in a bar in London, who was from Berlin. I haven't had the opportunity to get involved till this summer and am looking forward to seeing what it's all about.

兴趣

I love visiting new places and equally showing people new places. I enjoy being outside, whether that's hiking or just wandering around. I like swimming and a bit of yoga/pilates now and then. Happy chilling out in a bar or trying new restaurants.
I liked painting and art at school and have tried to continue this hobby into adult life, recently with oil painting and ceramics.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I lived in the jungle in Indonesia for 6 weeks collecting data for my university research project. I slept in a hammock and survived a relentless onslaught of leeches. This was followed by a further 2 weeks of amazing scuba diving off an island called Hoga which cured my leech bites, trench foot and vitamin D deficiency.
