About Me
Ahhhh I have to rewrite my CS profile now. It's out of date.
My previous profile was kinda cheesy and childish to me now, but I guess I'll just keep it here and update what I've been up to recently, so I can look back and see how I've changed overtime :).
UPDATE 2022
I'm currently living in a small village near Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province, Vietnam.
I love reading and writing (still). I write mostly in Vietnamese and I've published 6 books until now. I also hope that I can have a good command of English and publish a book in English someday.
I still want to be a teacher one day (like I said in my previous update). But I don't say things like "inspire" or "guild younger generations" anymore, these words make me cringe now lol (when we were younger we tended to use big words you know). I just love being a teacher 'coz I like to work with young people, and it would be an honor to witness how a person grows and changes over time and how you can facilitate that change (for the better hopefully). I'm inspired by so many great teachers in my life, I want to follow their steps and pay it forward. Being a good teacher requires essential qualities that I want to practice in life: kindness, integrity, wisdom, calmness. I'm planning to go into academia but I'm not sure if I'm capable of that, so now I'm just give it a try to see how far I can go.
I love art and I want to learn to practice different types of arts, like performing arts, poetry, art therapy etc. There are so many things to learn. I wish I could have different lives to learn new things and pursue my various interests.
I'm into outdoor activities. I love hiking, trekking, camping etc and I try to be in the nature whenever I could. I'm not into "hardcore" physical activities like when I was younger but I still do yoga and running.
UPDATE 2018
In my previous profile I wrote that I wished to become a writer, traveler and freelancer somehow. It's funny to say that I'm exactly what I have wished for. I guess CS sees me grow :).
So currently I'm a writer, a yoga teacher and a travel blogger. I have published 2 non fiction books, on the way to publish the third one. And writing a fiction book.
Sometimes you see me talk too much, sometimes you see me a quiet person. I'm just not so good at small talk but you'll see how talkative I am when digging deeper into the conversations :).
I like quiet and peaceful places, what is nice and gentle. Love Mother Nature, creativity and humanity. Focus on knowledge, achievements, experience, spiritual and physical health.
I'm much into reading and writing, it brings me deep satisfaction to express feelings into the right words.
One day I hope to be a teacher in any form. I like teaching. Love to inspire and guild younger generations, show them that love, hope, internal strength, and courage will be with them all around the world, all over the time.
PHILOSOPHY
"Happiness is a journey, not the destination"
"Nothing is rocket science"
"Ask for what you want".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
UPDATE 2022
I'm not on CS very often. So I don't know how CS is at the moment. But I would love to make more friends. It's always nice to meet a person for the first time in your life, and you feel like you've known them for years and you want to be friends with them for many more years. I've met quite a few people like that here on CS. I hope you'll be the next person.
UPDATE 2018
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Information, knowledge and experience sharing.
IF you are woman/girl travelling alone, and in need of a couch, let me know. I would be happy to host, if I'm in town and not so busy at work :D
IF you are a solo traveler in HCMC, and feeling somehow lonely in the strange city, just send me a message. I will (hopefully) somehow make your days here brighter and warmer. Life is too beautiful to feel lonely, and there are many things that can make you happy on the way (eating snail is a nice example).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosted sometimes. Surfed one time. Looking forward to more awesome CS experience.

Had a one month road trip across Vietnam while building mini libraries in small provinces. Half community work, half travel. It's fun to incorporate some adventures into my community services.
